THE annual Christmas Charity Show at Blunsdon House Hotel racks up its 20th anniversary next month.
In aid of the Bristol Royal Hospital for Sick Children, it has been playing to packed audiences. Organiser John Holmes is hoping for another great turnout.
The Bristol hospital is especially close to Mr Holmes' heart as staff there helped his five-year-old granddaughter Chloe fight back from a life-threatening illness.
The fundraiser, 67, wants to buy the hospital a £25,000 life support machine like the one that kept Chloe alive, and has already raised more than £12,000 through a series of fundraising concerts at the Upper Room of the Savoy Pub in Regent Street.
The Christmas show is a cabaret featuring singers Beryl Jones and Bob Maskell, pianist John Davies, and the Tanwood Dancers.
Tickets, costing £6, are available from John Holmes Music, Faringdon Road, Swindon. The show starts at 7.30pm.
