FOR a unique Christmas present this year, you couldn't get much cuter than a lion cub born at Bristol Zoo in August.
She doesn't come cheap however. Aiesha eats her way through 6kg of meat and a raw egg every day, which will cost the zoo £1,000 a year.
The zoo is inviting animal lovers to pledge £25 a year to adopt a lion or one of its collection of more than 300 species, which would help to contribute to their care and upkeep.
In return people would receive a certificate of adoption, information about the animal, and a free entry ticket to the zoo to visit the chosen animal.
