TWO friends put their heads together to raise thousands of pounds for charity.
Sam Smith, 28, and Jenny Truffle, 41, raised £2,617 which was split between the Prospect Hospice and the Challenging Cancer and Leukaemia Charity when they took part in a sponsored head shave at the Castle Pub in Swindon.
Sam explained: "We came up with the idea over a drink and it seemed like a good idea at the time.
"We were really pleased with the amount of cash that was raised and I would like to thank everyone who donated."
The cash was handed over to Gillian Richardson from the Prospect Hospice and a representative from the CLIC charity.
