A SWINDON mother-of-two managed to raise about £2,000 after taking part in this year's London Marathon.
Debbie Comer, 35, donated half the money to the charity Breakthrough Breast Cancer and this week she presented the remaining cash, £1,100, to the charity Baby Lifeline which supports mothers and newborn babies.
The charity put the cash towards a foetal heart monitor and training videos.
Zurich Financial Services worker Debbie said: "I have always wanted to take part in the London Marathon and when I got a place this year I thought it would be nice to raise some money for charity.
"Zurich Financial Services matched half the amount I raised and I am very grateful to them."
She decided to make Breakthrough Breast Cancer one of the beneficiaries as two of her relatives have been affected by the disease.
