DESPITE a spirited display, Marlborough went down to defeat at the hands of leaders Bradford on Saturday 10 November.
Marlborough dominated the scrums, but failed to take full advantage of their possession throughout.
Marlborough's two tries came in the second half. Outside half Charlie Randel scored the first after beating his opposite number on the halfway line and racing past three defenders to score in the corner. Moments later centre Richard Turnell grabbed an opportunist interception in his own half and sprinted clear to add a further five points.
The home side ran in three late tries to give the final scoreline a convincing look.
