A VILLAGE pub has won more recognition for its top quality food.
The Toll Gate Inn in Holt has been awarded accreditation to the Campaign of Real Food.
Alexander Venables and Alison Ward-Baptiste took over the pub in 1999 and since then their food has also been commended in the Which Good Food Guides and The Michelin Red Guide.
Mr Venables said: "Our aim is to provide customers with interesting and original food."
The pair have worked for some of the country's top hotels and Mr Venables was awarded a Michelin star when he worked as head chef at Lucknam Park Hotel, Colerne.
