A £1,000 reward is being offered by a Trowbridge businessman to anyone who can help catch the person responsible for setting fire to his car.
An incendiary device was thrown through Andy Powell's £20,000 Mercedes C-Class saloon car last month.
He had parked near his home in Union Street and witnesses described hearing glass smash and seeing fire spreading rapidly from inside the vehicle.
People seen running away from the car at about 10.30pm on Thursday, October 11, were described as wearing dark clothing.
Mr Powell, the former north and west Wiltshire Pubwatch chairman and owner of the Carpenter's Arms in Roundstone Street, described it as a cowardly revenge attack.
He is eager to find out who is responsible, and admitted it would give him great satisfaction if someone was caught.
He said: "It would give me great pleasure to look them in the eye across a courtroom, especially if it turns out to be someone I know.
"I'm sure that somebody knows who did this, as they probably have enemies already.
"If someone can give information leading to a conviction then they will get a £1,000 reward.
"I'm not prepared to sit around forever and let the matter be swept under the carpet."
Despite the inconvenience, Mr Powell is not prepared to replace the car until the culprit is found, and hopes that in future, anyone who has a problem will confront him face to face.
"I'd rather they knocked on my door or smacked me in the eye than do something this cowardly. However, it still might have been a random act of violence."
Anyone with any information about the attack should call Trowbridge police on (01225) 763101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
