WESTBURY MP Andrew Murrison sums up wonderfully the present state of affairs in Trowbridge over the possible loss of the County Records Office and its court when he describes the county town as Wiltshire's civic amputee (see Page 6).
Trowbridge is fortunate to have a loyal band of committed residents, traders and politicians who will fight these suggestions tooth and nail.
They are, quite rightly, appalled at the prospect of this civic loss and are determined to do all they can to get the proposals overturned.
The Wiltshire Times backs them to the hilt and calls on all its readers to lend a hand. Now is the time to do something before it is too late.
