PEUGEOT says some drivers could save themselves enough for a family holiday abroad every year, if they switch to diesel for their company car.
The maker has worked out several tax scenarios to show how the choice of vehicle could save them money over the next three years . . .
£ A businessman who drives 15,000 business miles a year, using a 1.8-litre petrol car could save £551 by switching to a Peugeot 307 HDi (diesel).
£A sales manager who drives 18,000 business miles a year in a 2.5-litre petrol executive saloon could save £2,840 by switching to a Peugeot 406 HDi.
£A salesman who drives 20,000 business miles a year in a 2.0 petrol coupe could save £1,496.
£An executive director who drives under 2,500 miles a year in a 2.5-litre petrol car could save £1,563 in the first year, or £4,119 over three years, by switching to a Peugeot 607 HDi.
