AN apparent wrong turning left an articulated lorry marooned in a Swindon neighbourhood.
The Renault truck ended up with its cab on a grass verge and its trailer on the tarmac after the driver seemingly tried to turn and retrace his path at the bottom of Okus Road.
It is not known whether the driver attended to turn on to Okus Road, which passes Princess Margaret Hospital and leads eventually to the narrow lanes of Swindon's Front Garden.
But if the truck was from outside the town, it would not be the first to fall victim to what hauliers often describe as one of the trickiest road systems in the country.
The lorry was eventually moved.
