TOWN youth team coach Viv Busby insists there will be no divided loyalties this afternoon despite his links with Hartlepool United.
Buzzer is firmly focused on bringing Town's young talent through to the first team but there was a time when his only concern was three points for this afternoon's visitors.
He spent a year as manager at the Victoria Ground in 1993.
But the Hartlepool United of today is very different from the one Busby remembers.
He said: "It is a good little club, with a nice stadium and a small but fanatical hardcore support."
But that is a far cry from eight years ago when Busby was at the helm.
He said: "The place was abysmal. Money was owed and it was just ridiculous. It was all about creditors' meetings and bailiffs knocking on the door.
"It was hardly ideal for me as a manager but it was certainly an experience.
"But I'm pleased to see things have turned around there."
As for the game, Busby knows Town will be in for a tough afternoon.
"League form goes out of the window. They will relax and we have to make sure we're absolutely right."
Busby knows all about the joy a good cup run can bring. He was a member of the Fulham side that lost 2-0 to West Ham in the 1975 final.
He said: "If you can get your mind right and your act together you can go far in this competition, as Wycombe Wanderers proved last year."
n The Town End will not be open for this afternoon's game. Prices are as follows: £10 (adults), £5 (concessions) and the 'kids for a quid' scheme will be in operation.
