A TODDLER from Wiltshire has learned sign language even though he is too young to talk.
Harry Compton from Crudwell, near Malmesbury, is only 13 months old but already has a string of signs including milk, medicine, more, food, and bath.
His parents, Jacqui and Robin, started teaching him when he was just eight months old, after research showed that babies who sign learn to speak earlier. Jacqui said: "When Harry first signed back at me, my heart turned over it was absolutely incredible.
"When he asks for more biscuits or food, it is difficult to refuse him because he asks so nicely it's very rewarding."
When Harry wants milk, he opens and closes his fingers into a fist and, when he wants more, he puts his hands together.
