CIRENCESTER: A 51-year-old former chemistry teacher has become the National Trust's first ever bat conservation officer.
Phil Richardson's brief will be to advise Trust staff on how to look after bat habitats and reveal more of their secret nocturnal world.
Phil has worked with bats for 30 years and helped set up the Bat Conservation Trust.
