SWINDON: A pedestrian struck and killed by a car on the main A419 road on Sunday has been identified as a 24-year-old local man.
The accident happened between the Dorcan Industrial Estate and the Wanborough overbridge at 3.26pm on Sunday.
Swindon police spokeswoman Alvina Kumar said the dead man's identity would not be revealed until his parents had travelled from Northern Ireland and spoken to the force's Family Liaison Officer.
