I AM writing to ask your readers to support The Cancer Research Campaign and the Imperial Cancer Research Fund during Children's Cancer Awareness Month which runs throughout December.
Last year The Cancer Research Campaign announced the wonderful news that seven out of ten children now survive childhood cancers but I know we would all like to see that improve again.
Throughout the month people are invited to Go Crackers For Kids and help the charity raise vital funds to continue its research.
Why not organise an office raffle, or a mince pie party, Christmas pudding race, or you could bring some Christmas cheer to your neighbours by carol singing.
A free Go Crackers For Kids fundraising pack is crammed full of ideas.
To get hold of one or for more info please call freephone 0800 CANCER that's 0800 226237 or log on to the website at www.crc.org.uk/ccam
