WHAT a disgraceful afternoon at White Hart Lane.
Sol Campbell's return was always going to spark anger but the reaction of some Spurs fans was ridiculous.
The Arsenal team bus was bombarded with missiles and Campbell was struck by a plastic bottle during the game.
But the thing that I found most staggering was the multitude of 'Judas' signs held aloft by Spurs fans.
Free speech is all well and good but I'm still surprised the White Hart Lane authorities allowed them through the turnstiles.
But the other disgraceful incident at the weekend was the decision to disallow Muzzy Izzet's penalty at Old Trafford.
Referee Andy D'Urso bottled it disgracefully.
If he had blown for the penalty to be taken, it is not Izzet's fault if Barthez was leaning against his post enjoying a fag.
Would the goal have stood if United had scored in such circumstances?
Do I really need to answer?
