SINGER-songwriter Dave Graham used his musical talents to help police get the massage say no to drugs across to children from St Peter's Junior School in Marlborough.
Mr Graham and PC Kevin Reed, from Marlborough police station, spent an afternoon with year five and six pupils at St Peter's and, earlier in the day, year eight students at St John's School.
They visited both schools to spread the word that young people do not need drugs to have a good time.
Mr Graham sang one of his own songs, called Natural High.
The words of the song say people can enjoy themselves from the highs they can get naturally when having fun, and that they do not need the artificial influence of drugs.
PC Reed said: "Our visit centred around the Crimestoppers campaign telling children to Say No And Phone SNAP if they get offered drugs.
"Dave used his music and his songs to help get the message across that people, youngsters especially, do not need illegal drugs to get a high.
"He wanted to persuade them they can get one better and safer quite naturally.
"In his case the high comes from performing on stage."
