STAFF at Devizes-based Sarsen Housing Association have been left stunned by the death of chief executive Terry McColl.
Mr McColl died on November 14 following a heart attack. He was 58.
Mr McColl helped to set up Sarsen when he was director of housing services at Kennet District Council.
He began working for Kennet in 1989 and was a regular swimmer at Devizes Leisure Centre.
A spokesman for Sarsen said staff were shocked by his death and were still coming to terms with it. Mr McColl is survived by his widow, Ann, their three daughters and two grandchildren.
The funeral will be held on Friday November 23 near his home at Cold Ash, Newbury.
