WORK on the Chicago Rock Caf in Trowbridge is progressing well.
The builders moved in eight weeks ago and the project looks set to meet its completion date in mid-February.
Steve Dennis, director of Luminar Leisure, the company behind the project, said:
"The building work is progressing well. We are really pleased with how it is going."
The £1.8 million project will convert a former dance hall behind Silver Street into a caf, bar and restaurant.
The Grade II listed building has, in recent years, been used by retailer Mackays as a storage facility.
Luminar Leisure is the biggest operator of entertainment venues in the country, with 250 premises nationwide, 71 of which are Chicago Rock Cafs.
The company plans to build a further 10 next year.
