TWO teams have already finished the world's toughest rowing race, but a man from Warminster is not too far behind.

Will Mason has teamed up with Tim Thurman from Grimsby to tackle The Ward Evans Atlantic Rowing Challenge, which has a 2,900 nautical mile route from Tenerife to Barbados.

On Wednesday, the pair were in sixth place in their boat, Bright Spark, 318 miles from the finishing line.
