MAY I through your columns, on behalf of the Trowbridge & District White Ensign Association, organisers of the Remembrance Concert held at the Civic Hall, Trowbridge on Sunday November 11, tender a sincere thank you to everyone involved in making it such a success. Once again a superb evening was enjoyed by a near-capacity audience.
Moving performances by the Trowbridge Youth Band, the Morphew School of Dance, the Sea Cadets, Air Cadets, Woodbine Willie, Trowbridge Amateur Operatic Society and Corsham Town Band contributed to the success of the evening. Not forgetting our Honorary Chaplain Chris Brown, Sea Cadet Chaplain Michael Brown, compere Patrick Fortescue and the display by the standard bearers.
All proceeds from the concert will go to service charities.
CHARLES LUCKHURST,
Secretary,
Trowbridge & District White Ensign Association.
