THE sorting office in Trowbridge had some young visitors.
Children from the Courtmills pre-school went to see how mail is handled as part of their project on celebrations.
Play leader Elaine Varnam said: "This month our theme is celebrations Christmas, birthdays and Duvali and we thought that we would bring in posting letters as a part of that."
The nine three and four-year-old children went behind the scenes to see the mail being sorted.
They then posted letters of their own to themselves so they could see the whole system at work.
Mrs Varnam said: "It is something a bit different and it is nice for the children to get out and about."
