BUSINESSMAN Tom Rothschild has launched an appeal against West Wiltshire District Council's decision not to allow his plans for a wildlife and wetlands centre near Trowbridge.
Mr Rothschild, who is currently embroiled in a planning appeal over the development of Stone Mills, near the Shires shopping centre, hopes to create the centre on the outskirts of the town.
He has earmarked a piece of land between the river, canal and railway line near Staverton.
The district council turned down the proposal earlier this year because of the lack of parking and disabled access at the site.
Mr Rothschild has also lodged an appeal against the decision to turn down his application for a camping and caravan site on land near Church Road in Heywood, Westbury.
Both appeals will be decided by a public enquiry at a later date.
Comments can be made in writing to the Planning Inspectorate in Bristol, before December 18.
