Trowbridge firefighters climbed to new heights on Saturday, November 18 all in aid of charity.
The team of firemen staged a sponsored ladder climb in the town's Shires shopping centre, with ladders spanning the complex's three floors.
The event, to raise money for Children in Need, was started at 10am by chief fire officer Neil Wright, who was the first to climb the laddered section.
Firefighters took turns ascending the ladders and, by late afternoon, had completed 2,327 climbs a total of eleven and a half miles and raised £1,804.90.
The ladder climb is now a regular Children in Need fundraising event for the brigade.
