MARK ROBINSON believes Town's clash with Brighton is a 'massive' one for the club.

The 33-year-old is adamant that victory over top-of-the-table Albion would be an important psychological boost.

Robbo accepts that Town need to stop talking a good game and get out and prove themselves.

He said: "I know the fans must be fed up hearing excuses. It's up to us to start putting things right."

The defender knows that Town's recent run of results, although not fatal, must be reversed quickly.

He said: "We have two home games in the space of four days and we have to try and take maximum points.

"Brighton are flying at the moment but then so were Brentford when they came to our place earlier in the season.

"But we need to start putting a string of results together.

"We have failed to do that so far and that's why we are where we are in the league."

Robbo knows that Brighton, backed by a large travelling army, will not have any fears over coming to the County Ground, and that another lacklustre display will be heavily punished.

He said: "We've had a chat about what went wrong at QPR and all the boys are determined not to put on another show like we did at Loftus Road.

"The manager gave us a roasting at half-time and a roasting at full-time.

"We just didn't get going that night and against a team like Brighton, we cannot afford to be so generous, certainly not in front of our own fans.
