Devizes Town goalkeeper Paul Thompson snatched an amazing last-gasp equaliser in the Premier Division game at Bishop Sutton.

Brian Newlands' side were trailing deep into injury time, when shot-stopper Thompson pushed up field and headed home a set-piece to secure a 2-2 draw.

Devizes started the game as favourites, but twice found themselves behind.

Garry Cripps put the hosts ahead on 19 minutes, before Barry Flippance levelled.

Cripps restored Bishop's lead on 25 minutes, before Thompson's late heroics sealed a point for Devizes.

Melksham Town continued their relentless rise up the the Premier Division thanks to a 1-0 home victory over local rivals Odd Down.

It was another sound defensive performance from Robbie Lardner's men, who now move to 11th with several games in hand.

Melksham were always in control at the Conigre, but the hosts had to wait until 14 minutes from time before notching the decisive goal.

Steve Seals and Matty Bown had both gone agonisingly close to opening the scoring, but it was left to player boss Lardner to break the deadlock.

No such problems at Corsham Town, where Mark Godley's side made a swift return to winning ways. After defeat to Shepton Mallet last week, defender Dave Kilmurray provided the perfect tonic by heading an 89th minute winner for Corsham against visiting Bitton.

Mick Burns had put the away side ahead, before Matt Pratley quickly restored parity.

Kilmurray's late goal secured a sweet 2-1 win for Godley's men, who move to fifth in the second flight.
