SWINDON: A 16-year-old boy was remanded in custody after pleading guilty at Swindon crown court to rape and robbery. The youth admitted the two offences on a man on September 5 but denied threats to kill and kidnap of his victim. Those charges were left to lie on file. Judge Lester Boothman adjourned to case so reports can be prepared before the youth is sentenced.
