MORE than 50 A-level and B-Tec students abandoned their studies and instead spent the day and night dancing.
But all the fun was in aid of a good cause, the BBC's Children in Need appeal.
The young men and women, aged between 16 and 19 years old, started dancing at 10 am on Friday morning.
They kept going for 12 hours, finally finishing at 10pm on Friday.
Spokeswoman Diana Shepherdson said the students hoped to raise more than £60.
During the day fellow pupils made donations to enter the main hall and watch and during the evening parents were invited to attended.
Diana said: "It was a last minute idea so that's why we didn't hold it on the day but it was brilliant anyway.
"Everyone is working really hard and having a lot of fun at the same time."
The event was organised by first year students Hannah Kilmimster and Ryan Donovan.
