AN AUDIENCE of millions will be getting to know Swindon skaters Andrew Seabrook and Tiffany Sfikas very well over the coming months.
That's because the pair and the town have been selected to feature in the BBC's promotional film for next February's winter Olympics in Salt Lake City.
BBC technicians have scoured the world for footage of some of the world's best winter Olym-pians, and will soon be flying to Austria to record snowboarding and skating segments for the film.
But yesterday, the ice rink at Swindon's Link Centre was the place to be as the Swindon-based British Pairs Champions took part in a 12-hour filming marathon.
Sadly, the BBC film will be as close as Andrew and Tiffany get to next year's Olympics. This is because the International Skating Union will not currently allow Tiffany, an American citizen, to represent Great Britain in inter-national competitions.
The ice skating champs have appeared for the last two years in the ice spectaculars at the Link Centre run by Alan Seabrook, Andrew's dad.
