HISTORIC buildings in Malmesbury could be in for a facelift.
The town hall and The Triangle are among buildings in the town that have been offered funding for enhancement and repair by North Wiltshire District Council.
The Malmesbury Heritage Economic Regeneration Scheme has targeted a total of 43 properties in Abbey Row, High Street, Oxford Street and Gloucester Street, as well as the Market Cross.
The owners of the properties have been sent a letter outlining the parameters of the scheme and how to apply for funding.
The owners have the option to take up a grant for work by writing to the district council.
Separate applications may be needed for listed buildings. Buildings qualifying for grants are historic buildings, shop fronts and commercial premises.
Only certain parts of work are eligible, including major repairs to stonework, brickwork and joinery.
To find out more contact the Built Environment Team at the district council on (01249) 706508.
