LEADERS All Cannings were involved in an 11-goal thriller against third placed Maud Heath Sports in Division One of the Vanitec Computers sponsored Chippenham Sunday League.
They maintained their slender lead at the top following their 6-5 victory. They looked to be coasting at 4-0, but the Sports hit back to tie the score at 4-4. Martin Baker (2) and Richard Holman (2) had set the leaders on their way before Dave Beal (2), Matthew Waite and Ian Bailey levelled. An own goal then moved Cannings in front before the Steven Johns equalised once again. Dave Keates had the final say in the final seconds when he made it 6-5.
Chippenham Police recorded their fifth draw of the season, recording a 2-2 scoreline against Atworth United.
The Police dominated the first period and took a deserved 2-1 half-time lead with Paul Doddimead twice and Scott Portsmouth replying for United from the penalty spot. Atworth were on top for the second period and were well worth their point when the Police's Andy Beavan headed into his own goal.
Both sides had goals disallowed and missed chances to claim victory.
Hullavington remain in second position and still boast one of the tightest defences in the league after earning a 4-1 win over Gladstone Liberal Club. After a goalless first half, Phil Garland (2) and Carl Watkins (2) hit Hullavington's goals before Mike Cassidy bagged a late consolation for the Libs.
Bromham lost for the ninth time this season but had one of their best results to date, going down only 2-1 against West Lavington. Trowbridge Harriers are in third spot but threw away a two-goal lead before clinching a 3-2 win over Colerne A. Andy Cooper and John Hubbard (penalty) had put the Harriers in command before Charlie Spirrall and Ben Moore looked to have earned Colerne a share of the spoils before Harriers' Jamie Burbedge scored a magical individual effort in the 88th minute to earn his side an all important two points.

Corsham FC slipped from pole position after losing 3-0 away to Cooper-Avon Rangers. Frank Coleman hit his first of the season and other goals came from Steve Peglar and 16-year-old Kevin Watts.

Winsley's fifth victory on the trot moved them up into second place following their 2-0 win over Malmesbury Town.
Rivals Corsham Centre United and Box were involved in a classic encounter which eventually went the way of United 3-2.
United led through goals from Darren Hughes, Dave Kilmurray and Frank Rogers before Box replied through Rob Humphries and Ben Sammut.
Box went on to hit the woodwork on a number of occasions but could not find the all important equaliser no matter how hard they pressed.
Division Two
WESTBRIDGE United took full advantage of leaders West End Wanderers' inactivity to leap frog above them at the top of the table following their 4-0 defeat of Sutton Benger.
Chris Stiles set United on the way in the seventh minute and Paul Bendell (2) and Paul Daly completed the scoring.

Old Lane United hit seven against Wingfield, who replied with four of their own. Old Lane scored through Marcus Young (3), Mark McIntyre (2), Richard Parker and Stuart White.

Old Road Tavern found themselves 6-0 down at half-time against Classic FC, with goals from Glen Timms (2), Steve Rendell (2), Paul Hussey and Chris Preston.
The Tavern staged a mini-revival in the second half and scored through Rob Dark, Gavin Aplin and Ian Ball, but it was to no avail as Rendell completed his hat-trick in the final ten minutes to end any fears of a Tavern fight back as Classic won 7-3.
Holt FC are hot on the heels of the leaders and maintained their fine run with a 4-2 victory over King Alfred. Dan Burton-Morgan (2), Tim Edgar and Nick Corbett found the net for Holt, Gary Banks and Neil Clark were on target for the King Alfred.
Colerne B had goalkeeper Ray Hewitt sent off when they were leading 1-0 against Roadrunners FC.
His dismissal led to Roadrunners going on to win 3-1 once Steve Ivin had converted from the penalty spot. Dave Shore and Ivin with his second made up Roadrunners' trio, this after Andy Moules had put Colerne one up.
Bradstone Rovers hit six against KSM without reply. Alan Eades (3), Andy Waller (2) and Steve Halliday were all on target.
