HOMEOWNERS in Wiltshire are wanted to take part in a new prime time television programme about how they have decorated their homes.
The series called Other People's Houses, to be broadcast on Channel 4, will examine the different ways people approach design and decoration of typical styles of British house.
Each week the series will focus on a house type Georgian townhouse, Victorian terrace, country cottage, 1930s villa and 1960s high rise flat.
The series will examine the characteristics and architectural features of the house and learn how these have dictated the way the internal space has been used.
It will meet owners about to embark on the renovation of their home and investigate the possibilities open to them.
The producers, TalkBack Productions, want to hear from people planning to redesign or decorate their homes.
A spokesman said: "Other People's Houses will embody the 'wow' factor of inspirational design with its showcase of interiors and ingenuous design solutions. But it will not only examine the types of houses and their decorative schemes but the people who live in them and how they live in them."
