Trowbridge League: Leaders Trowbridge Town Reserves were held 1-1 by Steeple Ashton in Division Two of the Trowbridge League (sponsored by Premier Training and Development).
Town keeper Dave Burrows denied Ashton during the first half which could have seen the visitors 3-0 up. Ashton took a 76th minute lead when Steve Wells' shot was pushed out for substitute Andy Pritchard to net. A superb volley from Chris Tricker got Town level after 80 minutes. In the last minute Ashton keeper Chris Bratton pulled off a brilliant save to deny substitute Neil Kirkpatrick a winner for town.
Steve Foord scored twice for Lavington and Easterton in the opening 15 minutes against Cross Keys Rowde. Foord's game ended after 20 minutes when he was sent off. Keys got level with two goals from Andy Morrison either side of half-time. The visitors then took both points with further goals from James Down, Morrison and Johnathon Knight.
Rudloe earned a point at Bratton Reserves despite having a player sent off at 3-2 down. Jamie Bloor put Bratton 1-0 up before Chris Young and Luke Risbrook put Rudloe ahead. Simon Dolbear equalised for Bratton before half-time, with Kevin Farrar giving them a 3-2 lead. Matt Dancey got Rudloe level to make the final score 3-3.
Castle Combe kept in touch at the top with a hard fought win at Bradford Sports.
Jamie Winks scored twice inside 20 minutes as Combe dominated the early stages. Sports battled back getting a goal from Mike Spong before wasting three chances in the last 10 minutes to earn a deserved point.
