ENGINES revving, rubber burning, baseball caps twisted backwards - but vacant stares on their faces.
Boy racers, the scourge of city centres all over the country, are said to be terrorising Amesbury.
Some residents fear there will be a fatality unless something is done to stop gangs of youths from driving at high speeds around the central car park and town centre.
Ray Long (54) has lived in Amesbury all his life and says he has never seen anything like it.
"The central car park and town centre are being treated like a racetrack," he said.
"They drive around with their music blaring, doing handbrake turns and wheelies and burning rubber.
"The behaviour is appalling. Someone is going to get killed before very long."
