RORY Bremner is a favourite amongst Swindon people, a survey shows.
Research indicates that people prefer up to the minute political satire to slapstick comedy, with nearly 50 per cent of people interviewed choosing the impressionist as their favourite comedian.
A study, called A Life Less Serious, reveals that people in general are becoming more stressed about the trials and tribulations of modern day life and as a result are rejecting comic stimuli.
Malibu Rum questioned 1,000 adults aged between 18 and 75 and found that the older generation displayed the biggest capacity to laugh, while 18 to 24-year-olds scored the lowest on the humour scale.
