JACQUI Goodall, the new headteacher at St Edmund's Girls' School, Salisbury, began her school career in the city as a pupil.
Born in Salisbury, she met her husband Glenn there before his Army career took them further afield, including Germany and Cyprus.
But 14 years ago, the family returned to south Wiltshire and Mrs Goodall (50) joined the staff at St Edmund's as a maths teacher.
She has now been appointed head, having been a deputy and then acting head following the departure of Cheryl Heron at the end of the last academic year.
