FISHERTON Manor Middle School, Salisbury, has been found to have serious weaknesses, according to its latest Ofsted report.
Although the inspection team has found that provision for pupils is satisfactory overall, the team has found weaknesses in key areas and says that the school is not providing satisfactory value for money, "given the funding it receives".
Leadership and management were identified as unsatisfactory overall and it was noted that there was insufficient emphasis on raising standards of pupil attainment and ensuring that all students achieve well.
Standards of attainment are below average in Year 6 and well below average in Year 8.
