THE roads in Wiltshire simply cannot cope with the amount of traffic using them. Of course there are other aspects, reducing pollution and green house gases.
Coun Tony Molland is using the wrong approach with the problem outside Woodborough School. He should be taking the matter, which is of top priority, to the highways committee so they can take action immediately before there is a fatality.
The review Mr Molland talks about should be used to look at all the villages in Wiltshire and there are lots of them, many without footpaths like, for example, Milton Lilbourne and only one bus a day.
It's about time we took a long hard look at the whole aspect of transportation and the pollution caused by it.
