AN OLD photograph was sent in to the Wiltshire Times by Mrs Marion Williams who found it among her mother's belongings after her death.
Mrs Williams said: "I asked around the family but nobody knew them or where they came from."
Thinking that people always want to have photographs of their relatives, she decided to contact the Wiltshire Times.
Mrs Williams gave us some information, which might help readers identify the couple in the picture.
Her mother's name was Ellen Miles, and she was married to James Miles. Both lived most of their lives in Westbury, although her father had originally come from Tinhead, Edington.
Mr Miles had a brother called Henry, who lived in Lavington, which might be where the picture was taken.
Also on the photograph is the name A. Burgess, Market Lavington, Devizes, Wilts, which may refer to the photographer.
Mrs Williams is hoping to restore the photograph to its rightful owners, so if you recognise the picture please contact us on (01225) 777292.
