Chippenham Town boss Tommy Saunders will be desperate to secure a win at Rocester tomorrow, after watching six points slip from his grasp this week.
The Bluebirds are reeling after a double blow severely hampered their title aspirations.
When Bloxwich United withdrew from the league on Tuesday, Town lost the three points gained from beating the Midlanders' last month. Subsequently Saunders' men relinquished the Western Division top spot to rivals Halesowen.
Within 24 hours, Town were hit again, when a floodlight failure prompted the game against Clevedon to be abandoned with Chippenham leading 1-0 at the time.
Despite the week's events, manager Saunders remains philosophical about the setbacks.
"It's just one of those things, there's nothing you can do," he said.
"Fortunately, most of the other sides, with the exception of Halesowen, had beaten Bloxwich too, so it shouldn't have a huge effect come the end of the season.
"And the Clevedon game will be replayed, so we can still get the three points from that fixture."
Town are likely to name the same side that started against Clevedon, although Saunders hopes to complete the signing of a new goalkeeper in time for the clash with the relegation threatened Staffordshire outfit.
Probable Town line-up: Mogg, Vickerman, Rudge, Andrews, Dicks, Rawlins, Woods, Charity, Harrington, Tweddle, Bent.
Chippenham's neighbours Supermarine will also benefit from a Bluebirds' win tomorrow, with Rocester fast emerging as Marine's chief rivals for the single Western Division relegation spot.
