Highworth Town look to be up against it this weekend when they entertain Brackley Town one of the strongest sides in the Hellenic Premier Division.
After two league wins on the trot manager Chris Seagraves would no doubt have preferred weaker opposition for his side who are now pulling away from the relegation zone.
However, with the Highworth faithful roaring them on, a revitalised Highworth outfit might just turn the form book upside down.
Brackley have won nine of their 13 games, drawn two and are eight points behind leaders North Leigh with three games in hand.
Wootton Bassett, after their commendable draw at Carterton last week, face the long trip to Hereford to take on Pegasus Juniors who are just one point above the Wiltshire side.
Manager Pete Yeardley said: "We have gone four games undefeated and over the next few weeks have got a lot of six pointers to play with games against Pegasus, Highworth and Almondsbury. I think we have to go to Hereford with a positive attitude and try and come away with a result. We have got a few players on the injured list but whoever is drafted in it's up to them to show me what they can do."
League leaders North Leigh are at home to Shortwood United and second placed Yate Town take on lowly Bicester Town and can add further to their impressive goals for tally.
Fairford Town are in action in the second round of the Complete Music Challenge Cup at Southall. The two sides met last week at Cinder Lane, Fairford running out 2-0 winners. No doubt the home side will be looking to avenge the defeat but Fairford's away form is very impressive.
In Division One, Don Rogers' improving Pewsey Vale side visit Chipping Norton Town who are in the lower half of the table and should be capable of picking up another three points which will perhaps take them to fifth spot in the table.
Shrivenham's recent form has also been a revelation. A few weeks ago they looked to be struggling at the foot of the table but a good run of results has taken them to just below mid-table. They take on Ross Town at home and will face a tough test as the visitors have lost just two of their 12 games.
Malmesbury Vics visit Old Woodstock Town in the second round of the Supplementary Cup and need a victory to lift their spirits.
