A Former brewery drayman who painted his favourite pubs while making deliveries is to have his work displayed at The Swan Hotel in Bradford on Avon.
Tim Williams, who lives in Bradford on Avon, has been painting scenes from around the west country for years but took up the craft full time when he was made redundant from Ushers Brewery in Trowbridge nine years ago.
He now teaches art and paints people's homes in watercolour.
During his career he has had work displayed in London exhibitions and taken part in a competition to find a watercolour painting of a pub for an edition of the Quiet Pub guide.
Mr Williams said: "It seems quite strange that 10 years ago I was sketching pubs during breaks at work and now I am staging an exhibition in one of them."
He plans to show more than 45 paintings. There will be a private view on Friday and the exhibition is open to the public from 10am-6pm on Saturday and Sunday.
