A PEACE vigil, which has taken place in Trowbridge each week since the bombing in Afghanistan began, has been suspended until further notice.
The Trowbridge Ad Hoc Peace Group formed as a way for people to express their feelings following the September 11 attack on the World Trade Centre.
Group member Peggy Thomas said many people felt two wrongs did not make a right, but now the bombing appears to be over it was time to reconsider the vigil.
Mrs Thomas said: "We held the last vigil on Saturday, but that is not to say we won't be returning at some point in the future."
