A TEENAGER who relied on his bike to get to school and work has appealed for anyone with information about its theft to contact the police.
Sam Robson, 15, has been left stranded after thieves stole his rare Huffy MJ BMX bike from outside Harry's fish and chip shop on Paxcroft Mead, Trowbridge.
His mother Maria Robson said: "The bike was silver and grey and Halfords say only one, or maybe two, have been sold in this area.
"The bike was a limited edition and worth about £230.
"He used to cycle to and from school on it and he used to go out on it in the evenings.
"He was dependent on it to get around and it was his pride and joy."
Anyone with information is asked to contact Trowbridge police on (01225) 763101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
