European coins buried in drawers and down the back of sofas will become worthless on January 1 with the launch of the Euro.
But they can be taken along to Age Concern Swindon, and the charity will then cash them in and use the proceeds to help older people this winter. Currency may be taken to the branch in Fleet Street, or Alliance and Leicester Bank, Halifax Bank or Travelcare shop.
