A CLAUSTROPHOBIC cat desperately needs a specialist home in Swindon.
Bubbles was locked in a bedroom for the first 18 months of his life, and has been left so traumatised that he cannot stand confined spaces.
The two-year-old ginger and white cat eventually made a bid for freedom through the bedroom window and lived wild in Swindon for six months.
Concerned neighbours finally caught Bubbles and took him to Chimneys Boarding Cattery in Rodbourne Cheney, where the owner Janet Reddy is caring for him.
But like the other cats, Bubbles has to sleep in a pen, which is making him very unhappy.
Now Janet is desperate to find Bubbles a home on a farm where he can roam free.
She said: "Bubbles has been mistreated and as a result he can't stand being locked up.
"He needs lots of space and the freedom to come and go as he pleases.''
Janet fears Bubbles will just run away again unless she can find him a special home.
"He is sensitive and needs lots of patience and care but he has the potential to be a very loving pet," said Janet.
If you think you can offer Bubbles a suitable home call Janet at the cattery on Swindon 539537.
