A DIVORCED man from Swindon is one of the stars of a new BBC documentary.
Life after Love tells the story of six people as they struggle to move on after separation or divorce.
Among them is Andrew, 40 he refuses to reveal his surname who is trying to pick up the pieces of his life since his marriage broke up a year ago.
Introduced in the third pro-gramme, he reveals that he has suffered depression since the collapse of his marriage, and is finding life as a part-time dad hard.
He especially hates Sunday after-noon, when he has to take his two young daughters home to their mother and her new partner.
During a video diary he made for the series Andrew says: "I hate Sundays.
"It's such a down after the weekend.
"It's just too quiet. I miss their sound. It sounds like home and then it doesn't sound like anything."
Andrew, 40, adds that his repetitive job in a car factory gave him too much time to dwell on things.
So he decided to give it up for a new career, and is later seen following a new vocation to work with teenagers in care.
As well as a new job, Andrew is shown reviving his interest in music, but he admits life on his own is hard.
He says: "I don't think you get better. You might get used to it, but you don't get better."
The series begins on Monday at 10.35pm.
