CUB Scout Jonathan Barry is the pride of the 10th Chippenham Jubilee pack having completed all of the movement's 51 badges.

Jonathan, ten, a pupil at Queen's Crescent School, Chippenham, completed his final badge in first aid last week.

The pack's Akela, Clare Caughley, said she was immensely proud of Jonathan, who was invested a Cub in February 1999.

"I have seen how Jonathan has come from Beavers and how he has progressed and I am so proud that he has achieved all of the badges," she said.

Jonathan's badges, which line the arms of his brown Cub jumper, include those for athletics, swimming, book reading and collecting, where he showed his Pokemon collection.

Mrs Caughley added: "I know of somebody in Trowbridge who collected all the badges but I don't know of anyone in Chippenham.

"His mum and dad, Pauline and James, are very proud of him."

After Christmas Jonathan will go on to join the Scout troop at the hut behind Hygrade's factory.
