WHO knows what tomorrow will bring for Swindon Town Football Club?
Shareholders are expected to give their blessing to Willie Carson, Wendy Godwin, Nick Prescott and Bob Holt as an interim board.
Clearly with one person holding the majority of shares, there can only be one outcome.
We can only wish them well as they start the unenviable task of trying to lead this great club of ours out of the gloom.
No-one is expecting over night miracles but then what do you define as progress at this club?
The million pounds they have promised is certainly a start.
Hopefully they have further sources of funding up their sleeves.
While questions will undoubtedly be asked at this EGM, I think the real fun will take place at the AGM.
The state of the accounts will finally become public knowledge and we should be a step nearer to finding out just what state this club is really in.
I think everyone would agree that this whole affair has dragged on long enough.
The fans are tired of the bickering and just want to get on supporting their team, free of off the pitch worries.
Please, please let us have a period of stability.
Changing chairman and managers (seemingly) every couple of weeks does nothing to help that stability.
The interim board will undoubtedly have new ideas but I just hope the baby-sitters are not tossed out with the bath water.
Roy Evans and Pete Rowe have kept the ship afloat. Let's hope they are given the chance to help steer a successful course.
