Two popular annual concerts in the Wootton Bassett area this week are completely sold out and there are waiting lists for returned tickets.
They are the Anthology of Carols and Readings at Bushton and Clyffe Pypard village hall on Saturday, December 8, and the Arthritis Research Campaign Christmas Concert at the Memorial Hall on Tuesday, December 11.
The WIX group, friends from the days when Wootton Bassett had a WI, will hold another reunion on December 19 at the Royal British Legion Hall, for a couple of hours from 2pm. Everyone who attends is invited to contribute food for a bring and share Christmas tea party.

Arthritis Research Campaign regional support officer Marion Evans shared in a coffee morning at the Civic Centre on Saturday, when £214 was raised for arthritis research.
About 50 people enjoyed a pie and peas supper organised by the Twinning Association at the Civic Centre on Friday. £181 was raised for the Wiltshire Air Ambulance appeal.
A coffee morning organised by Pat Purdy raised £800 to benefit Prospect Hospice. The annual event is a continuing tribute to her late husband at the time of his birthday.
